Looking out over the Strip at night, everything feels compressed and intensified, the city glowing in layers beneath you while the desert disappears into the dark.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"1001\" data-end=\"1344\"\u003eThe Luxor beam was already burning straight into the sky when I set up the shot. From this height, it stops feeling like a novelty and starts feeling like an anchor, something fixed while everything else flickers and moves around it. The Strip stacks in on itself, framed by mountain ranges that are easy to forget about when you’re on the ground.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"1708\" data-end=\"1998\"\u003eI don’t often include cities in my fine art work. I tend to avoid man-made subjects altogether. Las Vegas is one of the few exceptions. There’s an energy here that’s hard to ignore, a shared anticipation that people bring with them when they arrive, and it becomes part of the place itself.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"2000\" data-end=\"2159\"\u003eFrom Skyfall, the city feels less chaotic and more deliberate. Patterns emerge. Distances make sense.
