Even roads tend to feel intrusive to me in landscapes. But there are exceptions, and Las Vegas has always been one of them. I’ve been coming here for most of my adult life, not for the gambling, the clubs, or the spectacle, but for the energy. Every light, every facade, every reflection exists because someone decided it should. That stands in sharp contrast to the natural environments I usually gravitate toward, but it’s also what makes places like this fascinating.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"1796\" data-end=\"2083\"\u003eThe Bellagio Fountains sit at the center of the Strip, surrounded by hotels that borrow heavily from elsewhere, Paris, Rome, Venice, reshaped into something uniquely Vegas. From above, the noise fades. The crowds disappear.
